My journey took me from hotel manager to illustrator in just a few years...
I rediscovered my love for drawing right before lockdown and haven't put my pen down since. Now I split my days between my management career with my illustration work.
I create illustrations for both personal and commercial projects, editorial work, logos, and tattoo designs. I'm also the author of the drawing book "15-minute ink landscapes".
My art draws inspiration from nature, outdoor activities and sports, and travel. Recently, I've found inspiration in my garden—from blooming flowers to chirping birds—and I've been exploring handlettering.
Every illustration begins in my sketchbook with pencil or pen. For client projects, I then move to Procreate on the iPad and Photoshop for final touches.
My illustration style is minimal and intentional—each line contributes to the artwork's message. I capture a subject's essence without unnecessary complexity, maintaining the authentic feel of ink on paper. While I also add color, my focus remains on the simplicity and clarity black lines convey so well.
I share many of my projects and personal work on my Instagram @linesandmountains. See you there!
